My World, Where the Impossible Happens Every Day
There is a world, mingling with the world you know, where extra-un-ordinary people are ordinary. Where the impossible happens everyday.
A few people from my world have seen fit to give their live stories, but you would never know it. Their biographies were published as comic books. Partially because those brave few would not reveal our entire race without the entire race's approval. And partially because the comic books publishers were the only ones who believed, or maybe they were just greedy and needed a new story.
Whatever the reason, you have for sure heard of some on my fellow countrymen. Superman, Batman, The Flash, Spider-man, The Hulk. Each of these men (there are also women) are the elite of our society. They are our leaders, the ones we look up to. And we are not all like them.
We have problems just like you.
I grew up in the middle of no where, outside of any town or village. There was no one living within 30 miles of us, and that is how we liked it. My grandparent's raised me, as my parents were superhero's of great consequence and could not raise me the way they wished. Grandma and Grandpa (also semi-famous superhero's) did not want anyone stumbling on us accidentally.
My powers manifested themselves very early. Normally around 13 years powers reveal themselves. I gained my first power at the age of 4.

Found.
but according to the System's theory, Humans need patterns to function properly.
How can I bring a pattern into my life now, with everything changing every week?
I don't know where my boots are
and that makes me really sad.
I want to cry my eyes out
But that would make me feel bad.
I found my boots in my chair
resting for a while
And now I wear my boots all day
no longer feeling vile!
Aliana was walking around the feilds by her home when she heard a terrible screaming roar. She dropped to the ground, afraid the dragons were attacking. But when nothing happened for several minutes She brought her head up, looking around.
She heard the noise again and picked herself up. Crouching to avoid detection, she scurried through the forest.
Once again the noise sounded, though it was weaker. She was sure she was close.
She ran out from behind a tree, but quickly a towering red dragon glowering over a smaller violet dragon who was laying on her side, feebly trying to fend off the red dragon.
Aliana reached for her arrow, stringing her bow, then took aim.
She was ready to kill this red dragon, though she knew it would be difficult. Then the wind changed and the red dragon's head jerked in her direction.
That was all the violet dragon needed. She stroke, her jaws wrapped around the oppressing dragon's neck.
Aliana watched and the red dragon fought the violet one, then slowly grew weaker, and finally stopped all together.
The violet dragon unclenched her jaws and the red dragon fell to the ground, dead.
She shuddered to the ground, her tail flopping uselessly.
Aliana bit her lip, her conscience told her to flee, but her curiosity chided her.
You will never get another chance to see a dragon up close like this!
Aliana took a deep breath and moved out of the thicket toward the dragon.
The dragon's breath was heavy and labored. She touched it and jerked her hand back. The scales felt as if they were on fire!
The violet dragon lifted it's lip in a silent snarl.
Aliana moved away, then cautiously moved toward the dragon's head.
She knelt before the dragon and cast her eyes at the ground, extending her hand, palm facing the sky.
The dragon made a noise in it's throat then snaked it's head forward.
Aliana trembled as its nostrils flared right by her hand, exhaling a snort of warm breath.
She closed her eyes and put her hand on the dragon's snout.
It let her hand rest there, then pulled away, laying it's head down on the ground.
The dragon had it's eyes fixed on Aliana.
When she looked up the dragon glanced at her closed claws then at Aliana, then back at her claw again.
The dragon's eyes fluttered briefly.
Aliana looked around. She couldn't leave it here, especially if there was another dragon around like that dead red one.
She took her bow and shot two arrows up into the sky, one after another, a signal she and her mother had developed to tell her mother that she needed her.
She sat for a half hour, soothing the dying dragon. she shot three more signals before her mother came.
Her mother was running up the hill, "Daughter! Are you hurt?" she called breathlessly.
Ariana shook her head. "No I am fine, but... the dragon." she guestured to the violet dragon.
Her mother hesitated. " You remembered it is a wild animal?"
"Yes."
"and you treated the wild animal as I taught you?"
"With the respect of submitting to a master."
Her mother nodded. "Good, lets see what we can do to help this beast."
Aliana moved toward the dragon. Her mother balked as she was the red dragon. But as Aliana moved toward the violet dragon, her mother relaxed.
Aliana noticed but didn't say anything.
"What can we do?" She asked her mother.
Her mother sighed after she inspected the dragon.
"I am afraid there is nothing we can do."
"What do you mean?" Aliana said, worried.
"She is dying. She can't make it much longer." her mother shook her head.
aliana rocked back on her heels, her face falling. "Are you certain?"
"I am sorry m y dear. but she has only moments left."
"Is there any comfort we can give her?"
"I am not certain." her mother sighed again and put a hand on Aliana's shoulder.
The dragon's eyes fought for Aliana's attention.
Aliana sadly looked at the dragon. "I'm sorry I can't do more to help you." she whispered.
The dragon blinked once then looked at it's claw again.
Aliana noticed a glint from inside the claw.
There was something cradled under there!
Aliana crawled forward and moved the claws away. The dragon snarled weakly.
She jerked back her hand, making soothing clicking noises with her tongue. She reached forward and stroked the dragon's claw.
The dragon sighed sadly and relinquished it's grip as life faded from it's eyes.
Aliana moved the paw away and gasped, picking up the treasure.
She tenderely held an egg in her arms.
"Mother, look." she said quietly.
Her mnother reached forward and stroked the egg, her eyes soft in wonder.
"Aliana, you've found a precious treasure."

A Happy Story
For instance. Here is Eaven, out of high school two years, not a single date.
And over here is Dale who is a wonderful man preparing for his mission.
Working together is fun and they like to be in each other's company.
Once they watched a movie together calling it a "party."
And so Dale says he would like to have another party, and Eaven jumps on the idea and invites everyone she can see!
Then Eaven and Dale are texting, trying to figure out what movie to watch at this party that is going to be so cool. But Eaven gets tired.
"I am going to take a nap now, but I will be back in about a 1/2 hour."
"Make sure you are cause I have something important to ask you."
A smile spread across Eaven's face as she drifts to sleep.
"Do you work on this day?"
"are you doing anything after this time?"
Then the messages stop for a few minutes and Eaven feels dread. He is going to text her and ask her on a date. She would say yes, she would like to go with him, but asking her out over a text? Really?
But her fears are unfounded. Her phone rings and the caller is "Dale"
"I hear it on good authority that you don't work this day and are free after this time." He says.
Eaven smiles. "You must have a great source because they are correct."
"Well, If that is the case would you like to go on a date with me?"

What Was Going On?
and if it is not, something terrible could happen.
She ran down the stiars wishing they would fall away. Her hopes were granted and she landed on a soft pillow like cloud that came from the water. Nothing made sense, things were happeneing to fast. What was she doing here? what was her name? Everything she thought of happened, even the tiny things like a spark plug turning into a bug. Wierd how could this be. He fell next to here rubbing against her arm, she shyed away, there were no boys in her thoughts, what could be going on. She needed to get to the end, how did she get there? Nothing made sense. He stood up and pointed with his eyes, glowing green. She started and drew back running into a wall made of toothpicks. She ran to the hall , rran down the stiars, never wanted to turn back. What did she think was going on? it was too hot,. she felt the sweat drip off of her, she began to drip, into a puddle, a colorful puddle, she moved t hast way, making waves and minature hurricanes. She saw a door, she opened it and a rabbit popped out, nothing to make your day like a hairless rabbit. She began to grow, now into a tree, but she could move, like the walking talking trees from books. She walked and a bird flew, then to an animal all different kinds. it did not matter which animal just lot so f thme. she walked farther down the road and then saw a munchkin. he said hello then she began to fly, nothing like this had ever happened before. what was going on? She flew ad landed in a readl cloud, she closed her eyes and bowed her head wanting nothing more than to sleep her fingers typed away not really aking sense of anything misspelling no punctuation wanting saturday to come maybe halfway would be nice. What was happeneing. she neede3d to sleep but her fingers refused to cooperatte there was something that she needed to do.s he wastoo keeyed up to sleepe but then why did it seem so easy. showering was such a paoin.
wow... now you know how my brain works... kinda.

Treasa... Trea for Short!
Trea rushed through the hall, glancing at the signs as she passed. Where was the lunch room!? The school could not be that big! Then she saw it, a big sign over double doors “lunch room.”
She bounded down the hall but was stopped as she toppled over a young man, and landed on the floor.
“Ow!” she yelped as she hit the ground landing on her bottom. She brushed her hair out of her face, tucking her green streak behind her ear. The guy she had run into was staring at her like he had never seen a girl before.
Trea suddenly realized that she had knocked into him. “Oh, I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to knock into you; I just got lost and finally saw the sign for the lunchroom and wanted to hurry and get something to eat before it was over—“
She broke off when the lunchroom door slammed against the wall as a dark girl with a red streak in her hair stalked out. She spared a side look at Trea and the strange boy on the ground then kept stalking down the hall where she entered room and disappeared. This girl obviously did not have too many friends, she was to silent, Trea could tell that much just by looking at her. Dark hair, dark clothes, red streak. This girl stayed away from people.
“Who’s she?” Trea asked the boy.
“Ranna.” He said with a touch of longing, that no one but Trea would have noticed. “Don’t bother trying to be her friend. She’s not the type.” He said that as if he were trying to warn her, but even though Trea caught subtle hints of longing, she missed the outright warning of danger.
“Nonsense,” Trea smiled as she stood and offered her hand to the young man, who ignored it and stood up on his own.
“Everyone is the friend type.” She continued. “Someone just has to be brave enough to be pesky. I’m Treasa by the way. Not Teresa, Treasa. Trea for short. You know like that thing in the front of the school, the big one with lots of shade—“
She broke off as the boy turned and almost ran away. He obviously needed some friends too, or maybe he just didn’t like her.
Oh well, she walked into the lunch room and got her lunch, then looked around for a spot to sit. There was an empty table to her right, but she waltzed right past it and sat down next to a group of people.
They all looked up surprised. Trea smiled. “Hey guys, My name is Treasa. Well, actually I go by Trea. You know like an actual tree? Well anyway, just call me Trea. Who are you guys?” She stuffed some bread in her mouth and began to chew as she looked up expectantly.
The teens looked at each other then smiled at her.
“I’m Will,” the boy closest to her said, “And this is Layla, Ethan, Magenta, and Zach. Oh and Warren is over getting some lunch.”
Trea followed his finger and turned to see the boy she had run into earlier. “Warren? So he does have friends…”
“What?” Will asked, clearly confused.
Trea looked back to him, “Oh… sorry I was just debating on whether he didn’t have friends or just didn’t like me! Looks like he just does not like me, guess I will have to change that!” She smiled and then got up and walked out of the Lunch room.
The room turned out to be the Library. Trea looked around and saw her, what was her name? Ranna. Trea smiled, walked up to her table and set her books down across from Ranna and sat down.
“Hey,” she whispered rather loudly, “I’m Trea! Well actually my name is Treasa, not Teresa, Treasa, but I like to go by Trea so you can just—“
“Are you finished?” Ranna asked, rather monotone as she flipped between pages in a book and then wrote something down.
Trea leaned back in her chair. “Well now that you mention it, I don’t think I am. Did you know I have never been to a school before? I actually have never even seen this many people in one place before! You know, people take other people for granted, it is really hard to find a true friend especially when there are so many people out there who just want to hurt you. For instance, I can bet you $10 you really wish you could use your powers on me right now, but we both know that if you did… it will be Isolation for both of us, and there is no way I am ending up in there on my first day!”
“If you don’t stop talking now, there won’t even be any ashes of you left to put in the isolation room.” Ranna said this all very quietly, still not looking up from her notes.
Trea smiled wider, well at least she was talking. “Ah, so you are a flamer… cool! You know I knew a flamer once, he was a hot head, he couldn’t even control it! But you know… I…am gonna stop now.” Ranna had glanced up from her notes and the phrase “if looks could kill” ran through Trea’s mind.
Ranna went back to her note taking, and Trea stood up. “Well, I will see you later, Ranna! Maybe at the rooming assignments!”

Timid elaborateness
if I were ever a Superhero I may want to be called Timid Elaborateness..... don't quote me on that though.
I keep practicing my songs for tomorrow but dt is not workingout!!!!! I am getting scared! I will have to get up early and practice but I have to work late today.. but I also don't have school on monday AND
SOREN WILL BE HOME ON MONDAY!
I also need to do the picture for the literary magazine!
I have been doing chores for alot of today byet I don't feel trapped... this must be some new plot to destroy the world.. by enjoying work!!!!
But then again any time I can have my music and as loud as I want and sing as loud as I want I am fine doing most chores.... The bathroom is not one that I enjoy doing, which is what I am supposed to be doing right now.. which Is why I am on here instead of doing the bathroom.. even though it only takes about 10 minutes.maybe less
"What are you doing!" she cried.
Henry stopped what he was doing, which currently was climbing out of the bedroom window with a bag a valuables he had just stolen from this perfectly charming lady.
"Come back in here at once!" For a fat old lady she bounded across the floor rather quickly and began tugging at the bag. But this was not Henry's first gig and he knew what he was doing. Quickly, he twisted the arm that was holding the bag, bringing it above the heavy woman's head and spun it around, which caused the lady to land on the floor in a dizzy heap.
"thank you for the dance, lady." And Henry let go of the window sill and landed catlike ont he ground three stories below.
He pranced across the alleyway. Nobles and their jewels. If he tried to steal their favorite pillow, they would not throw such a hissy fit, just make a new one. New necklaces can be made too! didn't they know that? Then again, why did Henry steal the jewels? Because they were pretty? No, because then he could sell them back to the nobles for more than 3 times what they were worth, and he could continue living his life in peace... mostly.
what should come next? Idea's?
- He has to work up enough to pay for his sisters ransom
- He is the leader of a band of poor people who dispise money
- He can't touch money for some reason
- He feels guilty for stealing, but the thrill of the theft is to much for him.
I dont' know... Anyway, feel free to give ideas!

Eaven and Lance + the last post... MODIFIED! this one is SOOOO much better! READ IT!
Some girls have one boyfriend during high school, others have many. Then there are still other girls who don't even date. But then there is a handful of girls who want to have a boyfriend, but don't. Eaven White fell into this last category.
While a freshman, she had many views on steady dating, and not many of them made much sense. As she grew older she held true to some of these ideas, but most were modified to something she could accept now that she was older.
What surprised her most about her change of standards was not that she felt fine holding hands, or that kissing was not as big a sin as she thought. It was her desire to break her cardinal rule. She wanted a boyfriend.
As stated before, many girls feel this way. But for Eaven, this was a problem. For her entire high school career she had been against steady dating before graduation. Never once had she agreed with it. When her friends had given in and fallen into the trend of steady dating, she let them know her opinion on the subject time after time. And now she wanted the very thing she had fought against for four years.
This conflict raged inside of her, day in and day out. Eaven thought about it constantly. Not quite obsessing, yet not letting it rest. She wanted this more than she had ever wanted anything. Yet it was the one thing she had forbidden herself to have.
Because of the example she set for other girls, she decided to follow her standards and wait until after graduation. That was, after all, the goal she had set for herself her freshman year, and one of the few views that had not yet been changed by the passage of time.
At this point in Eaven's story, a difficulty arose: a new family moved in down the street.
A new family? What is difficult about that? There was nothing scary, abnormal, or even weird about them. Just a regular family with a mom and a dad and three kids. Yep, just a normal family... who happened to have an 18-year old boy, only half a year older than Eaven.
He was very handsome. Standing at about 6'2'', he had short dark hair styled into a fohawk where a part would normally be. His eyes were dark green, almost brown, and they complimented his slightly tanned skin.
Eaven's family was outside having some "quality time" (AKA yard work) when the moving truck pulled up four houses down. Everything was unloaded into the house. The new family waved the truck good bye as it drove away, then turned to gaze at their new house. Two small figures with pigtails ran away from the bunch and started running around the tree in the yard. A taller masculine figure ran out and picked up the two girls, one in either arm, and spun them around in circles. The couple left standing wrapped their arms around each other as they watched the children playing. The girls laughed hysterically as the boy suddenly dropped to the ground. They fell on top of him laughing even harder, then he let out a deeper laugh that could be heard even from where Eaven stood watching. She was about to walk down there and introduce herself, but just at that moment her mother decided it was time to go inside and eat dinner. As a result, Eaven did not really get to meet him until one afternoon when she was walking home from the bus stop after school....
Eaven stepped off of the warm bus and into the chill of the wintry air. Her golden brown hair blew lose of the scarf that was holding it in place next to her neck. Quickly she proceeded to walk home when a warm hand suddenly grabbed her gloved one, causing her to turn around and knock into a tall, very warm, male.
"Oh, sorry, Lady, but you dropped this." he apologized holding out a purple wallet.
Eaven gasped and slid away from him taking her hand out of his and accepting the wallet from his outstretched hand.
"Thank you!" she sand, as she check to make sure everything was in it's place.
"You are very welcome," He answered quietly. Then he asked, " where are you headed too?"
"I was just going home," she replied looking up at his face, which was very nice. The boy's -- he was not a man yet, thought he was as tall as one -- dark Green eyes looked down at her.
"May I walk you home, Lady?"
Eaven smiled and nodded to him as she started walking in the direction of her house. He fell into step next to her.
"So do you live far from here?" He questioned her smoothly.
"No," she answered, "Just around the corner and up the street, less then a five minute walk."
"Really? I live right here on the corner!" He pointed out his house as they passed, the same one that had been moved into yesterday. That meant... He was the boy that lived there!
"You live here? I live just four houses away!" She sounded ecstatic.
"Why, yes I do, Lady... you don't mind that I call you lady, do you?" He turned his forest green eyes turned to gaze at her expression.
She smiled saying, "I think it is chivalrous and romantic, I don't' mind at all."
His expression turned from concerned to terrified, " I am not meaning to come on strong," he explained, "I am sorry if it seems that way."
Touched at his concern, she smiled again.
"I understand, and I think it is very appropriate, seeing as you don't even know my name." She wondered if he would even ask for her name.
"Well I am glad." He said relieved. "Some girls I talk to never talk to me again because they think I am to forward, or to dull, take you pick."
"Oh no, never dull," Eaven laughed. He was joking with her, this was a good thing.
They reached her door, and she turned to look at him smiling.
"Will you be going to school soon?"
"Yeah, I am starting tomorrow. I would have gone today but seeing as I was not quite registered yet, I would have been pretty bored."
"Well, I guess I should go in now, can walk home with you again tomorrow?"
The boy grinned, a big crooked grin, "I look forward to it, Lady."
Eaven smiled back, and pretended to curtsy, "thank you for walking me home, fine sir."
He retaliated by sweeping a deep bow," Twas my pleasure, Lady." He took her hand and kissed it, then turned and walked away.
Eaven felt the euphoria grow with in her chest as she opened the door to her home.
"By the way," He said suddenly, making her turn around, "my name is Lance."

Eaven and Lance
“Excuse me, lady, but you dropped this.” He held up a piece of paper with scribble on every inch. Eaven gasped.
“Oh! Thank you!” she trumpeted.” Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I don’t know what would have happened if I had lost this! Thank you!” She shook his hand fiercely.
He smiled back at her and said a quiet “ you are welcome,” before he let go of her hand.
She smiled again and turned around ready to continue her walk home. As she walked, the man caught up to her.
“Excuse me, Lady, but may I walk you home?” His face looked hopeful when Eaven turned to look at him, she couldn’t’ turn him down.
“ Yeah sure… So….”
“Well, Lady, do you mind that I call you lady?” His emerald eyes turned to gaze at her expression.
She smiled, “ I think it is chivalrous and romantic, I don’t mind at all.”
Suddenly his expression grew concerned. “ I am not meaning to come on strong, just trying to make conversation.”
She, once again, smiled to herself, touched at his concern.
“ I understand, and I think it is very appropriate seeing as you don’t even know my name.” She wondered if he would ask for her name at all.
“Well I am glad, I just saw that you dropped your paper and wanted to give it to you, I know how frantic I am when I lose something, even if it is small.” He grinned at her, showing his smile was slightly crooked.
“Yes, well that paper has a lot of things on it that would hurt me to lose, I am glad you gave it back. Do you live around here?” They were almost to her house; she was scared she would never see this young gentleman again.
“Yes I do actually, we passed on the way here, just one street over on the corner. I work in the city so I take the early morning bus to get there on time, them get home around this time every day.” They had reached her door, and she was loath to part with him so soon after meeting him, but knowing he only lived a street away made the parting easier.
“ Well,” She muttered, twirling her foot on the ground, “This is my house… I guess I will, see you later?”
“Definitely.” She smiled again, and stunned her by making a deep bow. She retaliated by curtsying, pretending to hold a dress out.
“Thank you, young man, for escorting me home.”
He stood up and smiled.
“It was my pleasure.” He turned and walked away.
She sighed and opened the door, and then he turned around.“ By the way… My name is Lance.”

Tainted Victory
Her life had been made up of frivolous wants and desires, up until a few weeks ago when she had met Darius.
Some had said he was a spy from King Ezra. Others had said he was one of the famous Riders, who sought only for the freedom of everyone around them. Whether he was a rider, a spy, or some mysterious third thing, he was a threat to King "Arabella's Dad."
When he emerged from his isolation the King threw a grand party for him. And that was the place Arabella first set eyes on this dashing young stranger who changed her life for the better.
He drew her aside and told her of a life where a person could work with their own two hands, where there was something special about finishing a project, a sense of accomplishment.
She fell in love with his idea’s and in turn with him.
But their love could not last. He was soon banished from the kingdom upon penalty of death. One of the Arabella’s admirers told her father, the king, that Darius had only come to the castle to take Arabella away from the king. Outraged, the king forbid Darius to set foot in his kingdom ever again, forcing Darius to leave that very evening.
Before he left however he was able to contact Arabella one last time, pleading with her to come away with him. No matter how much she wanted to, Arabella could not, for her father was watching her every move and would kill Darius if she left the castle that night. Darius left with a promise to return for her before the first snowfall.
Finally that day had come. The leaves had changed and fallen, and a page came bearing a letter for Arabella. A letter from Darius. She was to leave that night, claiming she was going for a nighttime ride. He would meet her 42 strides from the edge of the southern tip of the forest.
Arabella donned a plain, brown riding dress and exited her room. She walked excitedly to the kitchen, asking for a few rolls and some jerky. The items were handed to her wrapped in a pastry cloth.
Walking out to the stables Arabella tried her hardest to not run.
While mounting her steed a stern voice called out to her.
“Arabella!”
Her heart sank as she recognized her father’s voice. Turing in the saddle, she donned a fake smile.
“Hello, father. I was just going for a short ride.”
“ Ah, is that so? Why then did I find this letter on your desk?” The king answered with a smug look on his face, waving Darius’s letter in front of her.
Arabella gasped, searching for the letter on her person, as if the letter her father held in his hand was not the real letter.
“ It hurts me to do this dear, but I cannot have my kingdom ransacked by my own daughter and some crook she happened upon.” He frowned slightly, then took a torch from the soldier to his right and cast it at Arabella’s feet, setting the hay instantly on fire.
Arabella’s horse reared and sparks flew up when he landed on the burning hay. The sparks flew into Arabella’s eyes, causing her to scream and her horse to bolt forward.
Galloping away from the stables, Arabella struggled to remain on her horse. Instinct begged her to rub her eyes, to ease the burning. But she could not; her horse was galloping so quickly that if she let go, she would be swept away with the wind.
What seemed like hours later, the horse came to a labored stop and Arabella slid from it’s back. She landed on the ground and began sobbing. Surly she would have missed Darius, even if she had passed him, he could not have stopped her horse. Her eyes hurt so badly, and when she opened them they just hurt worse.
Arabella cried herself into a fitful sleep. Dreaming about Darius and the sun.
Arabella was startled into wakefulness by strong hands lifting her into a warm embrace.
“Darius?” She asked hopefully, knowing it was not, he was much slighter.
“ No, Lady, my name is Leander of the elves. I have come to give you solace with our people.”
Leander carried her for miles, never seeming to tire. Arabella could tell when they neared the elves city, because from the steady stream of cheerful voices she heard coming from somewhere in front of her. She felt happier just by listening to their voices.
Leander set her down, letting her lean on his arm as she walked through the city. Suddenly he stopped and she felt him turn toward her.
“Lady Apparition, this is where I leave you.” Leander said as he let go of her and walked away.
Arabella sighed, feeling more alone than she had since Darius first left. Once again, she sank to the ground, feeling the tears threaten to overwhelm her. Cradling her head in the crook of her arm, she slowly opened her eyes for the first time since the night before. The expected brightness did not come, no bright colors, no people walking to and fro, nothing but black.
The te
Crunch. Arabella’s head snapped up as she searched with her ears for the direction the noise had come. Crunch. It sounded closer this time. Arabella stood up shakily and backed away only to trip over a fallen branch, landing on the crunchy leaves.
The crunching increased in pace and Arabella screamed. But her scream was cut off as a hand covered her mouth.
“Shh…. Shh, my love, it is me!” Darius cooed as he gathered her into his arms and rocked her back and forth. Arabella laughed breathlessly running her hands over his flawless face, reassuring herself this was actually him. He kissed her lightly once, then pulled away. Arabella, whose hands were still on his face pulled him to her again and she kissed his cheeks, his nose, his mouth.
“Did you miss me?” Darius said laughing. But the joyful sound died as his eyes rested on hers.
“What is wrong?” Arabella asked when she grew silent.
He touched her eyes gently, wishing he could give her back her sight.
“What happened?” His pained voice cut through the silence.
Arabella sighed and told him of her father causing her to lose her sight.
“I wish I had gone with you that first night you asked me too.” She said quietly after a moment of quiet.
Darius did not speak for a few minutes then suddenly, in a much happier tone, he said “ If you were my wife, you would never have to leave my side.”
Arabella’s breath caught in her throat when she realized what he was suggesting.

Suddenly there was a silent chill ran through the base of Arabella’s neck and went up to her eyes. Suddenly a bright light intruded upon her closed eyelids. Arabella blinked instinctively, then opened her eyes slowly, a smile growing on her face as the bright yellows a whites entered her eyes. Wanting to thank the lady, she grasped her hand tighter, but no o
“Darius!” She exclaimed, taking in how the deep brown of his eyes seemed to reflect her every feeling of peace, joy and happiness. Seeing his face again, she knew her joy was as full as it could ever be.
